Tomorrow Never Knows takes place in New York from January 11-15.

The Tomorrow Never Knows Festival has released its 2012 lineup, and it’s a dandy: Active Child, The Walkmen, Tycho and Theophilus London represent the diversity of the Chicago-based festival. And with extra bands come extra responsibility: this year’s incarnation expands from three to five venues, with Hideout and Smart Bar joining mainstays Schubas, Metro and Lincoln Hall for the party.

The festival goes down from January 11th-15th throughout the city. Five day passes are available through Lincoln Hall’s website – they’ll set you back 100 bucks, not a bad value at all at just over two bucks per band.
